'Still Waters', is an original abstract textile wall hanging featuring a beautiful combination of flowers and dragonflies. This piece is one of my personal favorites.
Dragonflies hold a special place in my heart, evoking memories of childhood adventures in rural Japan.
Measuring 21 inches x 36.5 inches, 'Still Waters' is made with hand-dyed and created fabrics, batiks, metallic foil/iridescent fabric, paint, glitter, and beads. The use of "stitch and rip" and mixed media fabric creation techniques adds depth and texture to this piece.
